Engagement and Staff Surveys

ECC understand that its members are facing turbulent times. The experience of other organisations undergoing significant change suggest that building the levels of engagement amongst all types of staff is critically important to maintaining productivity and morale.

Many universities and colleges have expressed interest in conducting such surveys, so ECC has made arrangements with three providers - Capita, Schneider-Ross and Towers Watson - who have agreed to give preferential rates on the services they can provide.

All three organisations have long and deep links with the sector and we believe they are well placed to provide an excellent service to you.

Engagement and staff surveys can be used to find out:

 - what is important to staff
 - what is of value to them
 - where their concerns lie

and to explore issues relating to work life balance, stress and equality and diversity.

They can be used to contribute to decision making and to inform the creation of reward strategies and development plans.
